The 24 Days of Central Market Arts returns to San Francisco's Central Market district, September 23-October 16. The festival kicks off on Mint Plaza with a weekend of performances by acclaimed local companies on Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25. The kick-off weekend includes dance, live music and family-friendly arts activities for all to enjoy the uniquely vibrant arts scene that the neighborhood offers.
The Central Market Arts Festival continues through October 16 with curated performances in dance, music and theatre at a variety of venues. Audiences are encouraged to visit the spaces where art is envisioned and created in Central Market.
Kick-Off Event: September 23-25 Mint Plaza (Central Market: Fifth Street between Market & Mission Streets) . Get a taste of dance, music, art and food from Central Market and South of Market neighborhoods. Open to the public.
Satellite Events: September 26-October 16. Various locations (Central Market/South of Market) . Concerts, art receptions, dance performances, theater and more. Open to the public.
2 Blocks of Art: October 14 , 4-8 p.m. Various locations on Sixth Street between Market and Howard Streets (4:30 p.m. Reception at Bindlestiff Studio, 185 Sixth Street). Artists will be featured in galleries, retail shops, restaurants, theaters and event spaces along the first two blocks of Sixth Street. Open to the public. Visit here to learn more.
